French Canadian driver Louka St-Jean will join Turn 3 Motorsport for his debut in the USF Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires beginning with Rounds 8 and 9 at Wisconsin’s Road America road course next weekend. The 17-year-old began his rookie campaign in the USF2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires earlier this year, completing the first two rounds in St. Petersburg and Sebring, Florida before a consequential crash sidelined him for the month of May.
Now back and more determined than ever, St-Jean is focused on getting acclimated to the next level USF Pro 2000 series in the second half of the year in preparation for a full season of racing in 2024.
“I am looking forward to making my debut in USF Pro 2000 next weekend,” said St-Jean. “I had a great test with Turn 3 Motorsport at Road America a few weeks ago, and I am up for the challenge of stepping up to the next level of the USF Pro Championships. My goal is to keep building experience this year and learn as much as I can going into the 2024 season. Before joining the USF Pro Championships Presented by Cooper Tires, St-Jean competed for two seasons in the F4 US Championship where he scored a pole position, podium, and fastest lap in his rookie season. After carrying out a successful one day test in the Tatuus IP-22 with Turn 3 Motorsport at Road America recently, the young Canadian is eager to get back in the car and go racing once again next week.
“I am very excited to have Louka (St-Jean) join our team,” said Team Owner Peter Dempsey. “I think he is a very talented young man with huge amount of potential. Louka had a great one day test with us in the USF Pro 2000 car already, so we are aiming to build on that experience and knowledge to have a solid debut in USF Pro 2000 next week. We are going to use the rest of the 2023 season as a learning experience in preparation for a full season of racing in 2024.”
St-Jean will drive the #3 Planiform/Proservin Construction Tatuus IP-22 for Turn 3 Motorsport. Other partners include Cosme Inc., Acier Marquis, JIT Laser, Alliance Contrôle, and TLA Architecture.
Rounds 8 and 9 of the 2023 USF Pro 2000 Championship will take place on the 4.014-mile, 14-turn road course of Road America in Wisconsin from June 15-18.

In 2021, T3M expanded its presence in the Road to Indy by introducing a two-car program into the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship alongside its Indy Pro 2000 Championship campaign. In its debut USF2000 season, the team found victory at the season finale with American driver Josh Green as well as earning an additional podium and fifth overall in the championship. The team earned further accolades in the Indy Pro 2000 series with a race win at the season finale by Irish driver James Roe as well as a pole position at World Wide Technology Raceway and seventh overall in the championship.
In 2022, T3M showed its strength and teamwork by achieving a podium, win, and/or pole at 7 of the 9 events on the Road to Indy calendar with drivers Josh Green, Jonathan Browne, and Christian Weir each earning the aforementioned results across two different series (USF2000 and Indy Pro 2000).
Louka St-Jean rejoint la série USF Pro 2000 avec Turn 3 Motorsport
Le pilote québécois rejoint l’équipe à partir de la course de Road America la semaine prochaine.
Mundelein, Illinois (7 juin 2023) – Le pilote québécois Louka St-Jean rejoindra Turn 3 Motorsport pour ses débuts dans le championnat USF Pro 2000 présenté par Cooper Tires, à partir des manches 8 et 9 sur le circuit routier de Road America dans le Wisconsin, le week-end prochain. Le jeune pilote de 17 ans a entamé sa campagne dans le championnat USF2000 présenté par Cooper Tires plus tôt cette année, terminant les deux premières manches à St. Petersburg et Sebring, en Floride, avant d’être écarté des pistes suite à un accident pendant tout le mois de mai.
Maintenant de retour et plus déterminé que jamais, St-Jean est concentré sur son adaptation au niveau supérieur de la série USF Pro 2000 lors de la seconde moitié de l’année, en préparation d’une saison complète de courses en 2024.
“Je suis impatient de faire mes débuts en USF Pro 2000 le week-end prochain”, a déclaré St-Jean. “J’ai effectué un excellent test avec Turn 3 Motorsport à Road America il y a quelques semaines, et je suis prêt à relever le défi de passer au niveau supérieur des championnats USF Pro. Avant de rejoindre les championnats USF Pro présentés par Cooper Tires, St-Jean a participé pendant deux saisons au championnat F4 US où il a décroché une pole position, un podium et le meilleur tour lors de sa première saison. Après avoir réalisé avec succès un test d’une journée avec la voiture Tatuus IP-22 de Turn 3 Motorsport à Road America récemment, le jeune Canadien est impatient de remonter en voiture et de reprendre la compétition la semaine prochaine.
