The USF Pro 2000 Championship presented by Cooper Tires is headed into its fifth race weekend of the year, officially marking the halfway point in their 2023 season with nine total tracks on the schedule. Louka St-Jean, the former USF2000 driver, takes a step up to the USF Pro 2000 series this weekend on the four-mile road course of Road America amongst twenty other competitors in the battle for the victory.
After parting ways with his former USF2000 team and joining Turn 3 Motorsport, Louka is focused on getting up to speed quickly and is excited about the race weekend after a recent test at the famed Road America.
“I might not be in the running for the overall title since I’m joining halfway through the season, but I’m excited to be taking this step up to USF Pro 2000 and thankful for the opportunity,” explained the young Canadian. “There will be some challenges with joining a new team and a new series while the season is well underway but I’m confident that the Turn 3 Motorsport team has the capability to provide a car worthy of a podium and it’ll be my responsibility to work hard, learn fast and get the job done.”
Turn 3 Motorsport is currently competing amongst the top teams in the USF Pro 2000 Presented by Cooper Tires and a force to reckon with in the USF Pro Championships ladder program.

St-Jean and the rest of the USF Pro 2000 competitors will hit the track in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin on Thursday for a pair of testing sessions before practice and his first qualifying on Friday. A second qualifying session will take place on Saturday morning with the first race of the weekend to follow in the afternoon. The Road America race weekend will conclude after the final USF Pro 2000 race early Sunday morning.

Louka St-Jean monte en grade pour la catégorie USF Pro 2000 ce week-end à Road America

Le Championnat USF Pro 2000 présenté par Cooper Tires entame son cinquième week-end de course de l’année, marquant officiellement le point médian de la saison 2023 avec un total de neuf circuits au calendrier. Louka St-Jean, ancien pilote de l’USF2000, fait un pas vers la série USF Pro 2000 ce week-end sur le circuit routier de 4 miles de Road America, aux côtés de vingt autres concurrents dans la bataille pour la victoire.
Après avoir rompu avec son ancienne équipe de l’USF2000 et avoir rejoint Turn 3 Motorsport, Louka est déterminé à se mettre rapidement à la hauteur et est enthousiaste à l’idée du week-end de course après un récent essai sur le célèbre circuit de Road America.
“Je ne serai peut-être pas en ligne pour le titre final puisque je rejoins la série à mi-chemin de la saison, mais je suis ravi de franchir cette étape vers l’USF Pro 2000 et reconnaissant pour cette opportunité”, explique le jeune Canadien. “Il y a des défis à relever en rejoignant une nouvelle équipe et une nouvelle série alors que la saison est déjà bien entamée, mais je suis convaincu que l’équipe de Turn 3 Motorsport a la capacité de fournir une voiture digne d’un podium et il sera de ma responsabilité de travailler dur, d’apprendre rapidement et de faire le travail.”
Turn 3 Motorsport est actuellement en compétition parmi les meilleures équipes du USF Pro 2000 présenté par Cooper Tires et est un adversaire redoutable dans le programme d’escalade des championnats USF Pro.
St-Jean souhaite remercier ses partenaires qui l’ont aidé à atteindre ce niveau et qui continuent de croire en sa carrière de pilote alors qu’il gravit les échelons de la série INDYCAR. St-Jean et le reste des concurrents de l’USF Pro 2000 prendront la piste à Elkhart Lake, dans le Wisconsin, jeudi pour quelques sessions d’essais avant les entraînements et sa première qualification le vendredi. Une deuxième séance de qualification aura lieu samedi matin, suivie de la première course du week-end l’après-midi. Le week-end de course à Road America se conclura après la dernière course USF Pro 2000 tôt dimanche matin.
