After turning heads in his USF Pro 2000 Presented by Cooper Tires debut at Road America less than two weeks ago, French Canadian standout Louka St-Jean is ready for more this weekend. Piloting the Turn 3 Motorsport Planiform branded USF Pro 2000 machine, St-Jean will travel to the legendary Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for rounds ten and eleven of the 2023 season.
“It was a great start to my USF Pro 2000 campaign and an equally great debut with Turn 3 Motorsport,” explained St-Jean. “I think I turned some heads in Wisconsin and hope to be able to impress some more people in Ohio.”
Kicking off his USF Pro 2000 program with a pair of top-five qualifying results, it was a top-ten finish in his first wheel-to-wheel race. While race two did not show the true results of his real speed, it was a learning experience that will help for this coming weekend and onwards into the future.
St-Jean added, “I was confident that with a good car and a good team, I could do well, so it was not a real surprise to me. I owe a lot of all my partners, as well as Turn 3 Motorsport and Peter Dempsey for his hard work and constant coaching and push to make me better.”
In the jam-packed three-day weekend, St-Jean will take part in a pair of test sessions on Thursday before Friday will open with official practice and qualifying for both races. Saturday will be the home of both wheel-to-wheel races of the weekend.

“Le québécois espère capitaliser sur son succès à Road America”
28 juin 2023 – Après avoir attiré l’attention lors de ses débuts en USF Pro 2000 présentée par Cooper Tires à Road America il y a moins de deux semaines, le talentueux québécois Louka St-Jean est prêt à en faire plus ce week-end. Aux commandes de la voiture Pro 2000 aux couleurs de Turn 3 Motorsport et Planiform, St-Jean se rendra sur le légendaire circuit automobile de Mid-Ohio pour les manches dix et onze de la saison 2023.
“Ce fut un excellent début pour ma campagne en USF Pro 2000 et un tout aussi excellent premier événement avec Turn 3 Motorsport », a expliqué St-Jean. « Je pense avoir attiré l’attention dans le Wisconsin et j’espère pouvoir impressionner davantage de personnes dans l’Ohio.”
Commencant son programme en Pro 2000 avec deux qualifications parmi les cinq premiers, il a terminé dans le top dix lors de sa première course. Bien que la deuxième course n’ait pas montré les vrais résultats de sa véritable vitesse, cela a été une expérience d’apprentissage qui l’aidera pour ce week-end à venir et dans le futur.
St-Jean a ajouté “J’étais confiant qu’avec une bonne voiture et une bonne équipe, je pouvais bien faire, donc ce n’était pas une vraie surprise pour moi. Je suis redevable à tous mes partenaires, ainsi qu’à Turn 3 Motorsport et à Peter Dempsey pour son travail acharné, son encadrement constant et son soutien pour me permettre de m’améliorer.”
Lors de ce week-end chargé de trois jours, St-Jean participera à deux sessions de test le jeudi, avant que le vendredi ne débute avec des séances de pratique officielle et des qualifications pour les deux courses. Le samedi sera le jour des deux courses de la fin de semaine.
